Hawaii Fire Department

We provide rapid helicopter emergency response across Hawaii Island, supporting aeromedical transport, land and sea rescue, and brushfire suppression. Our aircraft deliver advanced life support transport for critically ill and injured patients, ensuring rapid access to definitive medical care from remote and inaccessible areas. Aviation assets are also deployed for technical rescues, including hoist and short-haul operations in mountainous terrain, coastal environments, and offshore incidents. In addition, the program supports wildfire operations through aerial reconnaissance, personnel transport, and external load water delivery to protect lives, property, and natural resources.
