The Sales Support Manager for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) plays a critical role in driving the success of SAF sales within the Signature Energy organization. This position is responsible for integrating sales-related activities with key business functions—such as Supply, Sales, Fuel Operations, Marketing, and Pricing—to develop tools and strategies that enable the sales team to secure and manage SAF agreements with customers.
You will lead and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly SAF sales strategy meetings, oversee spaneting efforts, and generate detailed margin and volume reporting. Leveraging your strong analytical skills and business acumen, you will develop actionable insights to inform decision-making and optimize performance, even in dynamic or ambiguous situations. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills and the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly evolving SAF spanet. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for building relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive the SAF sales strategy by maintaining accountability and timelines.
- Oversee sales lead management and customer commitment volumes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and report on sales margins, gross profit, and competitive spanet trends.
- Manage Book and Claim inventory sales, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and administer SAF contracts, tracking performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop tools, training programs, and resources for the sales team and customers to enhance product knowledge and adoption.
- Coordinate spaneting activities to align with supply availability and customer commitments.
- Support long-term (3-5 year) SAF supply strategy development.
- Collaborate on sustainability initiatives to achieve scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions reduction targets.
- Conduct statistical and competitive spanet analyses to provide actionable recommendations that maximize sales opportunities and profit margins.
- Adapt quickly to unforeseen supply chain challenges, such as terminal or pipeline delays, quality issues, and refinery disruptions.
- Lead ad-hoc projects assigned by the Signature Leadership team.
- Stay ahead of SAF industry trends and changes, providing innovative solutions and support as needed.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in sales, supply chain, or finance roles within renewables/energy, aviation, or sustainability-focused industries.
- Qualified candidates will have a strong background in sales/spaneting support with program management and cross functional collaboration experience.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
