Tasks
The Sales Representatives main tasks are:
- Negotiates transportation agreements and processes bookings
- Creates quotations based on pricing rules, profitability, and upselling
- Identifies opportunities for profitable, long-term customer relationships
- Collaborates with Handling and Sales teams on customer solutions
- Manages LTC bookings and shares performance with sales team
- Supports new business acquisition and follow-ups
- Helps meet revenue and tonnage targets
- Analyzes spanet and customer data with Commercial Team
- Leads sales visits and shares competitor insights
- Processes charter requests and manages CRM data
- Promotes eChannel usage and follows up on Spot Quotes
- Handles claims and complaints, coordinating with relevant teams
- Participates in local sales events.
Requirements
Key skills were looking for:
- Strong customer service expertise
- Advanced MS Office skills (reporting, presentations)
- Quick to learn new systems, including Lufthansa Cargo’s
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities
- Excellent communication skills and team player mindset
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK
- A current, full UK Driving Licence
