Job Purpose
To execute and support various initiatives within the Commercial Performance Management team, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting commercial data to provide insights that support revenue optimization and strategic decision-making.
To monitor key performance indicators, conducting trend analysis, and identifying opportunities for improvement across various commercial functions.
Key Accountabilities
Data Collection: Gather comprehensive data from internal and external sources such as industry reports, spanet studies, and economic indicators, to develop insights into spanet opportunities and threats.
Research & Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of internal performance data on route/region/haul level.
Revenue Analysis: Analyze revenue performance across different channels, including passenger revenue, ancillary revenue, and cargo revenue, and monitor revenue trends and conduct variance analysis to identify factors impacting revenue generation.
Sales Evaluation: Evaluate sales performance by spanet, route, and channel to identify opportunities for revenue growth, and further analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies, promotions, and sales campaigns.
Route Performance Analysis: Assess route performance metrics, including passenger load factors, yield, and revenue per available seat kilometer (RASK), and monitor competitive dynamics on key routes and recommend adjustments to route strategies as needed.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Report Preparation: Assist in preparing detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, illustrating findings and recommendations.
Dashboard Management: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate commercial performance metrics and insights to stakeholders, and customize reports and presentations to address specific needs of different departments and stakeholders.
Support Project Initiatives: Provide support for ongoing projects within the team, including data preparation, analysis, and presentation highlighting key findings and implications for the companys strategies.
Collaborative Projects: Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Network Planning to analyze the performance, find reasons for deviations and suggest changes to ensure performance in line with expectations.
Collaborative Reviews: Participate in regular review meetings to discuss findings and progress on projects.
Tool Maintenance: Maintain and update analytical tools and databases used by the team.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement
Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree, preferably in Operations
Minimum Requirement
4-6 years’ experience in the aviation industry with at least 2 years in performance management
Desired Experience
6+ years’ experience in the aviation industry
