Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six (6) months of related experience
- Experience may include industrial, automotive, or aviation surface preparation or painting
- Ability to understand and apply directives related to surface preparation and taping layouts
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Aviation paint experience (preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described below must be met to perform the essential functions of this role, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Onsite Work: 100%
- Vision: Read computer screens, documents, and engineering drawings
- Hearing: Hear conversations, alarms, and safety warnings
- Speaking: Communicate clearly during conversations and meetings
- Equipment Use: Operate production tools and hydraulic lifts
- Lifting/Carrying: Up to 30 lbs (14 kgs)
- Pushing/Pulling: Tools, materials, and small equipment
- Sitting: Extended periods as needed
- Standing: Extended periods on production floor and aircraft
- Squatting/Kneeling: Required for taping and component access
- Walking: Office and production areas, including uneven surfaces
- Travel: Not required
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Required PPE includes, but is not limited to:
- Safety shoes
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- Respirators or masks
- Protective gloves
