Job Requirements:
Required Education, Experience, & Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily following established standards, codes, and safe work practices and procedures. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.
- Typically requires a High School diploma, or the equivalent.
- Physical effort and dexterity required to support standing and walking for extended periods of time, using hands to finger/handle/feel, and regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Communication skills, verbal and listening, particularly when using a 2-way radio to disseminate information effectively to others.
- Ability to use sense of smell.
- Visual ability to differentiate colors on test equipment and gauges.
- Must have the ability to support on a 12-hour shift with occasional call-in and overtime.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to cross-train in water filtration and wastewater operations.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Preferred (3) years experience in Wastewater or Water Operations.
- Preferred grade III or IV certification in Wastewater Treatment or Water Treatment
- Experience in Water Filtration Operations or Activated Sludge Treatment Operations
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $34236 - $54778
