Job Description
-The Technical Pilot is responsible to TDM for all operational matters relating totechnical issues and projects within flight operations department on a daily and strategic basis.
-His functions, duties and responsibilities are as follows:
a. Ensure technical support is provided to all parties concerned
b. Periodically review the Operations Manual and carry out the necessaryamendments to ensure that the references are in line with regulatoryrequirements.
c. Carry out technical evaluations and feasibility studies.
d. Coordinate technical issues with Group Flight Operations.
e. Assists in developing, authorization and implementation of Special OperationsProcedures (LVO, EDTO, RNAV, etc.) as published in the OM/FCOM andoverseeing the necessary modifications/updating of the procedures.
f. Draft circulars related to technical matters
g. Attend meetings as delegated by TDM.
h. Compile technical issues/problems/SOP/VR for further action.
i. Conduct other duties as assigned by TDM
