As a Security Officer within the Command Centre, your will be responsible in the coordination of crisis and emergency readiness activities by supporting the review of risk assessments, updating contingency plans, and maintaining crisis management documentation for the Group Security Command Centre (GSCC). The role also contributes to operational readiness through participation in drills and simulations, while providing support to the Security Coordinator in ensuring compliance with procedures and requirements.
In this role, you will:
- Responsible for continuously improving risk assessments and contingency plans to identify, mitigate, and prepare for potential threats and operational disruptions
- Support the review and implementation of crisis management protocols and SOPs, ensuring alignment with emerging risks, industry best practices, and organizational objectives.
- Prepare crisis contingency planning activities, including training, drills, and desktop simulations, to enhance team readiness and operational response capabilities.
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation, including risk logs, incident records, stakeholder contact databases, and crisis management checklists.
- Prepare standardised reports and insights on incidents, service trends, and performance gaps, and provide actionable recommendations to improve security operations and compliance.
- Identify and maintain strategic plans and roadmaps for GSCC’s core functions, ensuring continuous alignment with regulatory requirements and future business needs.
QualificationTo be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Professional/academic qualifications in Aviation Security (AVSEC).
- 3 years of experience in Crisis Management and Contingency Planning.
Youll have an edge if you have:
- Experience in developing SOPs in respect to Crisis Management and Contingency Planning.
