Job Title: Repair Technician
Job DescriptionAs a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and calibrating gyroscopic instruments used in navigation, guidance, and control systems. These instruments are vital components in aircraft, ships, and spacecraft, and ensuring their proper functioning through timely repairs is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on gyroscopic instruments.
- Ensure the accuracy and proper functioning of gyroscopes through regular calibration procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with gyroscopic systems, often requiring the ability to interpret schematics and drawings.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.
- Assist in designing, fabricating, and maintaining test equipment.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
- Experience with precision instrumentation and avionics repair.
- Ability to read and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals.
- Skilled in using hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A minimum of 4 years of experience in performing work referenced in the job duties.
- Experience with instruments similar to gyroscopes.
- Candidates with watch repair or experience with mechanisms involving small gear components are considered.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
