JOB DESCRIPTION:
YOUR ROLE AS:
Officer, Technical Publication
The Officer, Technical Publication is responsible for the administration, control, and integrity of all technical publication documents issued internally and by external organizations such as aviation authorities, manufacturers, and suppliers. This role ensures that all controlled technical documents are current, compliant, accessible, and properly distributed to support safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations. As an Allstar, you will uphold regulatory compliance, document accuracy, and operational readiness across Engineering and Operations.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Administer and control all technical publication documents issued by the department and external organizations, including aviation authorities, manufacturers, and suppliers.Ensure all technical publications comply with applicable aviation rules and regulatory requirements.Identify and classify technical documents as master or copy, including superseded or obsolete versions.Check all controlled technical documents for completeness and current revision status.Liaise with aviation authorities, manufacturers, and suppliers to obtain and maintain required technical publications.Coordinate with service and maintenance providers to ensure availability of safety, maintenance, and operational technical information relevant to PAA operations.Produce and maintain a master listing of all technical publication documents and make it available to relevant stakeholders.Issue and distribute required technical publications to designated recipients and maintain accurate dispatch records.Monitor revision cycles, updates, and amendments to ensure timely incorporation of changes.Manage subscriptions and renewal of regular revision services within required timelines.Ensure required technical documents are placed onboard aircraft in accordance with aviation authority requirements.Ensure all controlled technical publications are complete, current, and available to support aircraft operations and maintenance activities.Maintain a comprehensive register of all technical publications and their revision status.Safely store and secure all controlled technical publication copies and ensure backup copies are protected and available.Manage and control the technical library, ensuring restricted access and document integrity.Support compliance monitoring and audit programs related to technical publications.Implement corrective and preventive actions arising from audit findings and compliance reviews.Perform other related duties as assigned by the superior to support engineering and operational compliance.

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of technical documentation control and revision management.Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements and compliance standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
Soft Skills & Competencies:
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Collaborative team player committed to continuous improvement and Allstar standards.
