OVERVIEW:

YOUR ROLE AS A: Navigation Support
As a key member of AirAsia’s Flight Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of both routine and non-routine flights. You will support the Technical Development Manager and Flight Operations Engineers by managing overflight permits, maintaining operational documents, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and assisting the Operations Control Center. Your work ensures seamless flight operations across domestic and international routes.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
• Uphold and promote the highest standards of safe operations, proactively identifying and addressing any threats to company assets or personnel.
• Action all state requirements and secure overflight permits in coordination with the Flight Dispatch Manager or delegated personnel.
• Provide operational support to the Operations Control Center as needed.
• Maintain, organize, and keep the Flight Operations library updated.
• Coordinate the loading of updated aircraft documents with the Flight Operations team.
• Provide printed Aeronautical Charts to flights as required for MEL, regulatory, or operational needs.
• Process all documentary requirements for Non-Scheduled flights (delivery, rescue, positioning flights, etc.).
• Liaise with government agencies/regulators (CAAP, CAB, PNP, Customs, Immigration, Quarantine, MIAA, etc.) to secure required approvals for Non-Routine flights.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather and verify necessary documentation for Routine and Non-Routine flights.
• Ensure strict adherence to Navigation Support procedures and responsibilities as stated in the EFB Manual.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Technical Development Manager.
WHO YOU ARE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, Air Transportation, Aviation Management, or any related field.
• A detail-oriented, organized, and proactive team player with strong coordination skills.
• Able to work effectively with multiple departments and external agencies.
• Familiar with aviation documentation processes, regulatory bodies, and flight operations support functions.
• Capable of managing time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong communicator who can handle regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
