Assembler/Manufacturing Technician

33,225 per annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday – 08:00am – 16:45pm, Friday 08:00am – 12:00pm

In this role you will utilise the latest technology to repair, assemble, build and maintain aircraft generators and motors, in addition to learning how to balance rotor assemblies.

The Role:

•tRepair and assembling of aircraft generators and rotors
•tFollowing Engineering drawings and work instructions
•tOperate machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures
•tStrip, survey and fittine experience for generators and motors
•tIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement to work area and processes.

The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

Job Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but we're also keen to help people grow and develop in this role. If you have experience in fitting, repairs, assembly and/or test from any relevant industries we'd love to hear from you. We ask that you are able to lift weighs of up to 25kgs, and have some technical abilities to learn our products.
