You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of Airbus?  Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Advanced Analytics and AI PSL (DMZ) as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week! 

• Location: Hamburg

• Start: As soon as possible

• Duration:  12 months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least 18.17 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company&39;s premises. A working student&39;s main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

• Support the  organization of hackathons and the facilitation of training sessions to help users to effectively utilize GenAI technology within the platform

• Present our Generative AI Platform  to internal customers who will use it to build future Gen AI applications for Airbus.  

• Explain and support the various learning paths developed in collaboration with our technology partner and identify potential new training requirements.

• Manage the Gen AI Internal website and different communication channels (newsletter, chatroom etc.).  

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor&39;s or Master’s degree programme in AI, IT or a related discipline…

• Familiarity with a cloud platform like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure is a plus

• Good presentation skills

• Familiarity with one or more programming and/or scripting languages such as Python, Javascript, HTML and CSS is a plus

• Google site development and google appscript knowledge is a plus

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Enthusiasm to solve complex challenges, eagerness to learn and an open mindset go a long way

• English Language (Written and spoken) skills at Negotiational Level
