Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of our facilities. The role involves performing janitorial duties, mechanical maintenance, and supporting the operations team in maintaining compliance with site standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning of truck interiors, facility workspaces, walkways, equipment areas, and common areas.
- Manage cleaning supply inventory and report low stock to supervisors.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Sweep walkways, empty outdoor trash bins, and maintain entrance areas.
- Monitor facility infrastructure for wear, damage, or malfunction and report any irregularities.
- Assist with the upkeep of outdoor lighting and signage.
- Help maintain parking lot, including cleaning up spills.
- Safely handle and dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
Essential Skills- Experience with janitorial duties and cleaning offices.
- Skills in mechanical maintenance and facilities maintenance.
- General labor experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade training is a plus.
- Previous maintenance experience in industrial, treatment plant, or related environments is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in various weather and environmental conditions.

Work Environment
The position is based in an oil and fuel facility, equipped with pumps and settling systems to clean impurities from waste oils and fuels. Employees are expected to work in various weather and environmental conditions, adhering to safety protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carnegie, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
