Skills You Bring to This Role:
· Bachelor’s degree is required, we prefer degrees in safety, engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, systems/industrial engineering, business administration, or a related science, engineering, or business field.
· Prefer those applicants with Certifications/Training: Certified Safety Professional
· At least 6 years of work experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role in manufacturing or similar industries such as oil & gas, construction, transportation, utilities, or logistics.
· Knowledge of occupational health and safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Electrical Safety, Machinery and Machine Guarding, Crane and Hoist, Powered Industrial Truck/forklifts, etc is required.
· Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.
· Ability to complete assignments with autonomy, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy.
· Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.
· Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
