MISSION:
To maintain and provide IP’s and IP kits for radiographers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. IP Maintenance
Objective: to maintain and process IP’s for radiographers.
Essential Job Functions:
A. Flat field all new IP’s; make D form and put into inventory
B. Flat fiels all active IP’s monthly for quality and replace as needed.
C. Reviews IP and screen orders, including size, type and number of cassettes.
D. Maintains IP inventory records; orders film or notifies supervisor to order new IP’s.
E. Maintains IP cassettes; replaces or repairs worn cassettes and screens as needed. Make part specific kits.(LSBO, TBO only)
F. Keep kits organized making sure the serialization of the IP’s are in the correct location.
G. Coordinate with Radiologic Evaluator on IP review and scrap review.
3. Safety
Objective: to take responsibility for and demonstrate safe work practices.

TRAINING
1. Training is provided on the job.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Previous experience in IP processing and cassette maintenance preferred and ability to become Level 1 certified,
OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions on work orders, Quality Control Manuals, and other technical instructions.
3. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. (addition and subtraction)
