We are hiring a Senior Manufacturing Production Operator in Canonsburg, PA to support the assembly, integration, inspection, and testing of advanced electronic and mechanical defense systems in a secure manufacturing environment. This role requires experience with electronics assembly, wiring, soldering, cable harnessing, hardware integration, BOMs, and production manufacturing processes supporting mission-critical defense technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex production assembly operations on:
- Electronic assemblies
- Mechanical assemblies
- Subassemblies
- Modules
- Circuit boards
- Panels
- Drawers
- Frames
- Cables and harnesses
- Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and manufacturing work instructions.
- Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and hardware integration activities.
- Integrate subassemblies into final hardware configurations and support final assembly of small systems.
- Conduct basic electrical testing, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, and refurbishment activities.
- Follow established manufacturing methods, assembly techniques, sequencing requirements, and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Support manufacturing operations in compliance with safety, quality, and production requirements.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and work order tracking records.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
- Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance required at time of hire.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing, production, assembly, or electronics experience.
- Experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly, including:
- Wiring
- Soldering
- Component installation
- Cable harnessing
- Knowledge of polarity, inspection criteria, measuring equipment, and basic math applications used in manufacturing environments.
- Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs) and work order tracking systems.
- Ability to work onsite 100 in Canonsburg, PA.
