Summary:
Perform high-mix, low-volume PCB assembly and inspection for SMT and through-hole components
Remove, replace, and repair bottom-terminated parts using hot-air, hot plates, and rework tools
Follow proper thermal profiles for reflow, pre-heat, and cooling cycles
Operate X-ray equipment to inspect hidden pads and validate rework quality
Read engineering drawings, work orders, and BOMs for accurate component placement
Conduct in-process inspections (visual, AOI, X-ray) and document results
Troubleshoot defects (voids, bridges, tombstoning) and apply corrective actions
Maintain ESD controls and follow all safety/compliance procedures
Support continuous-improvement efforts for tools and processes
Work within IPC, ISO-9001, and AS9100 quality standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
IPC-A-610 (6+ years)
IPC-J-STD (6+ years)
IPC-WHMA-A-620 experience
Soldering expertise (6+ years)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
