Job Title: Sheet Metal Assembler
Job DescriptionAs a Sheet Metal Assembler, you will drill, ream, rivet, fit, countersink, adjust, finish, and inspect aircraft parts to ensure that specifications are met.
Responsibilities
- Read and follow process specifications, work orders, blueprints, rework/rejection tags, schedules, schematics, layout & modification sheets, engineering orders, and verbal/written instructions.
- Interpret documents and instructions to determine the sequence and methods for assembling and repairing sheet metal products.
- Pull parts from inventory and report any shortages to the Supervisor.
- Work with different gauges and types of sheet metal aluminum according to product specifications.
- Clean components and load component parts onto jigs/fixtures.
Essential Skills- 5 years of aircraft sheet metal assembly experience.
- Proficiency in riveting, drilling, and using hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in aerospace industry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with various types of sheet metal aluminum.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Work Environment
The position operates on a 1st shift schedule with four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, and additional 10-hour days on Fridays. Up to 20-25 hours of overtime may be offered. Tools are provided by the company, and composite or steel-toe shoes are required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
