Job Title: Sealant OperatorJob DescriptionAs a Sealant Operator, you will play a crucial role in building aircraft 787 structures by working with carbon fiber parts, resins, and epoxies. You will use engineering drawings and adhere to both company and customer specifications to ensure high-quality production.
Responsibilities
- Accurately build parts using resins and epoxies.
- Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, and work orders.
- Seal parts according to manufacturing orders or Static PWOs as required.
- Maintain and identify defects in parts, reporting any findings to supervisors or QA.
- Document materials used to maintain traceability.
- Handle regulated materials safely.
- Part mark according to engineering drawings, company, and customer specifications.
- Work toward the end of the assembly line.
- Organize completed parts and paperwork.
- Create shipping paperwork, known as Shipper.
- Submit Shipper to indicate parts are ready for shipping and invoicing.
- Move Shipper and parts to the Shipping Department.
- Assist the Shipping Department in packing parts as necessary.
Essential Skills- Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- 0-3 years of experience in a related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and integrity of parts.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of products.

Work Environment
The work environment may require part-time, full-time, or temporary employment status. Some minor travel could be necessary, along with the possibility of protracted or irregular hours. There may also be a need for relocation to another facility. The ability to understand and communicate in English is essential for successful job performance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
