Job Title: Machinist
Job DescriptionAs a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various types of CNC machines, including 3, 4, and 5 axis machines. You will work with advanced equipment such as Mag Cells and Hyundai machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in production.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines including 3, 4, and 5 axis machines.
- Perform setups and read blueprints to guide machine operation.
- Inspect work and ensure the quality of production parts.
- Utilize hand tools such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
Essential Skills- Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC machines.
- Experience in an Aerospace/Aircraft setting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in performing setups and inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Familiarity with hand tools such as calipers and micrometers is preferred.

Work Environment
Join a team of 40-50 employees working in a collaborative shop environment. The work schedule includes a first shift from Monday to Friday, with an alternative shift running from 3:30pm to 12am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mulvane, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
