Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Waterjet Operator to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on either the 1st or 3rd shift in a safety-sensitive environment. As a Waterjet Operator, you will be responsible for operating two waterjet machines and ensuring the accurate setup and operation of these machines.
Responsibilities- Operate two waterjet machines effectively and efficiently.
- Secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and hardware on the machine using hand tools.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of inspection tools and machine setups.
- Determine and implement necessary adjustments to tooling, setup, or hardware placement based on inspection results.
- Load and unload tooling, hardware, and programs as needed.
- Ensure all gauges and fixtures are secure and functioning properly.
Essential Skills- At least 2 years of machine operating experience.
- Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.
- Experience in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- General production and machine operation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- GED or High School Diploma is required.
- Aerospace experience is preferred.
- Troubleshooting and mechanical skills are advantageous.

Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic FAA 145 Repair Waterjet Department, supporting the overhaul program for GEs F-110 engines, mainly used in F15 and F16 aircraft. Night shifts run from 5:30 pm to 4:30 am, with Fridays from 3:30 pm to midnight, while day shifts are from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with Fridays from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. All training will initially be conducted during the day shift. Candidates must be willing to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
