We are seeking a Production Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity from Monday to Friday. The position is based 100 on-site at our Miami, FL facility and is open to candidates at all experience levels. The focus of this role is to produce high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. The employee will perform complex but repetitive electro-mechanical assembly operations involving electronic parts, components, subassemblies, and units including printed circuit boards, wire harnesses, and other electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PC boards, wire harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies using various hand tools, including drills, soldering irons, and screwdrivers.
• Perform tasks within acceptable quality levels in accordance with quality standards.
• Work from assembly drawings, parts lists, and wire diagrams.
• Conduct in-process inspection of own work and previous steps.
• Install finished assemblies and subassemblies in cases.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot failures during the production process.
• Perform inspection and acceptance tests for incoming PC boards, in-process inspections, and final acceptance tests.
• Conduct software installation and post-assembly testing.
• Assist with Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
• Display competence in multi-tasking while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Maintain a neat and orderly workstation.

• Ability to mount and solder both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole components such as resistors, capacitors, and cables onto printed circuit boards.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending schematics, component placement drawings, assembly layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and sketches.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Soldering certification (such as IPC) is a plus.
• Experience with PMA and AS9100 standards is a plus.
• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail, promoting accuracy and quality of work.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment and able to meet time and quality standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
