What does the role look like?

We’re seeking a strategic leader to lead complex, cross-functional programmes across our Actuation Systems business. In this role you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a multitude of project types, spanning the full lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing executive and customer expectations, and mentoring a team of project managers.

Were looking for someone who can bring a strong foundation in problem-solving, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, coupled with a deep understanding of change management processes.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

• Lead the planning and execution of a multitude of projects spanning the aerospace product lifecycle
• Drive effective problem-solving, proactively identifying and mitigating programme risks and issues.
• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and coordinate multiple work streams across departments and business units.
• Act as the primary interface for executive leadership and OEM customers, ensuring transparency, trust, and timely communication.
• Oversee the implementation of change management strategies to support programme delivery and organizational alignment.
• Apply a high level of emotional intelligence to manage cross-functional teams, navigate organizational dynamics, and influence without authority.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure programme success.
• Drive Aerospace qualification and certification processes when applicable, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer standards.

Essential skills:

• Excellent understanding of risk and change management frameworks and their practical application
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders and OEM-level customers
• High emotional intelligence (EQ) with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Desirable skills:  

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proven ability in risk management and quality assurance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and mentor programme management staff in forming high performance teams
• Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and managing programme risks.
