The Advanced Effectors & Space (AE&S) within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit is looking for a highly motivated finance professional to lead the management and oversight of an Advanced Hypersonic program portfolio with annual revenues of $200M and multiple contractual Earned Value reporting efforts. The candidate will partner with Program Director, Program Management, Functional Leads and Finance Leadership to ensure flawless program execution through cost & schedule control, EVMS compliance and capture future awards to grow the portfolio.
Key expectations include managing program controls team of 4, responsible for contract execution and managing associated investments. With ownership to develop quarterly EACs, deliver CDRLs and implement Earned Value Management according to contract terms, RMD policy and process description. You will also partner with proposal team to capture future scope and grow the portfolio. You will be an integrated part of a fast-paced Strategic Business Unit where tactical thinking, multitasking and initiative are key requirements. You must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and comfortable with new challenges. Good communication skills are a must, along with the ability to effectively interact with multiple layers of leadership and make recommendations for appropriate solutions.

What You Will Do
- Provide key recommendations based on analysis that drives shareholder value.
- Implement contractually required EVMS (Earned Value Management) reporting.
- Evaluate and improve internal controls, tools and processes.
- Lead and develop program controls teams.
- Collaborate cross functionally to develop monthly forecasts, LRP and AOP, providing tactical support of forecasts and plans using various financial tools (RPLAN, SAP, BW, Excel).
- Provide financial leadership in proposals, thinking strategically to develop executable offerings and secure internal alignment.
- Develop, present and defend business case analyses to secure investment.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Math or a directly related degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
- Earned Value Management experience to include IBR (Integrated Baseline Reviews), delivering all EV CDRL formats including CSDR (Cost & Software Data Reporting).
- Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts, etc) in proposal development and program execution.
- Experience analyzing data and information necessary to ensure program performance to plan and to ensure that problem areas are identified and corrective action is taken.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Additional Information
- This position is grade M5, Senior Manager, Program Cost Controls.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
