Arctic Peak Construction is looking for a Quality Control Manager to work in Suffolk, Va. To join our team!

Manage both Quality and Safety for federal construction projects for the USACE and or NAVFAC.

• Manages the quality control program – develop inspection checklists, develop audit schedules, validate work instructions and SOPs against PWS requirements, track and submit all required CDRLs, and supervise the quality specialist.
• Manages customer satisfaction program: respond to customer complaints, conduct customer follow-up on work performed, track programs statistics.
• Subject matter expert on quality management concerns: track USG QASP, meet with QAEs and COR, track all non-conformances and corrective action plans.
• Develops metrics to track contract performance.
• Utilizes knowledge of IBC, NFPA, DoD Policies and Procedures, OSHA requirements, to ensure work is completed to standard and employees are working safely.
• Acts as an On-call Manager (after hour duty support) for emergency response.
• Inspects subcontractor performance against SOW.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be a U.S. citizen, per contract requirements.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 2 years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance surveillance experience in execution of a maintenance, manufacturing, or other service-related industry with at least 1 years in a decision making/supervisory capacity.
• Experience in writing and executing Quality Surveillance Plan and schedules.
• Able to read and interpret contractual documents and work statements.
• Ability to develop presentations and reports on quality control activities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal direction.
• Ability to work with others and foster teamwork for employees engaged in maintenance administrative/clerical duties is required.
• Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write the English language.
• Strong organization skills.
• Code inspection/enforcement experience a plus.
• Construction management/inspection experience a plus.
