The Portfolio Management & Business Planning Manager (Emiratisation) will manage the portfolio of projects within Skywards and cross functional supporting departments based on the annual strategy. Enhance the departments performance by managing complex and critical projects and support the facilitation of change across people, processes and systems to enable development of innovative and implementable recommendations that will improve performance. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase employee engagement & motivation.
In this role you will:
- Manage the collation of quarterly demand and facilitate the Project Increment prioritisation and planning with all stakeholders.
- Support Delivery Managers to maintain the quarterly prioritised list of initiatives and annual backlog.
- Ensure adherence to the PMO framework as a prerequisite for prioritisation.
- Coordinate with cross functional departments on project prioritisation ensuring alignment across all delivery streams.
- Lead the content for the Portfolio reviews.
- Manage and coordinate centralised calendar for Skywards internal and external communications (advisory committee, executive updates, dependency from finance for benefit realisation).
- Coordinate content and date input for the Skywards Executive Annual Report.
- Communicate regular prioritisation updates to all relevant stakeholders and advocate adherence to the PMO framework.
- Develop and deliver Skywards internal communication strategy, planning and calendar of activity, support critical change programmes, to increase levels of employee engagement & motivation. (Monthly pulse and reporting, staff recognition, departmental knowledge sharing sessions, visibility across Emirates commercial departments on Skywards contribution, department annual engagement day planning preparation and logistics)
QualificationTo be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree in Bachelors or Honours
- 8 years of experience within Commercial and/or Portfolio Project Management
- Certification in Change Management and Agile Project Management preferred
Knowledge/skills:
- Experienced in the support of information systems for a business unit (preferably frequent flyer or loyalty programme)

- Working experience on large transformational programmes
