The ACAA’s Operations Supervisor - AGC will report to the General Aviation Duty Manager ensures that the conditions and safety of the airport is maintained in compliance and preparedness with local operational standards and regulations established by the Federal Government.
Here is how the Operations Supervisor - AGC will help:
Conduct runway, taxiway, ramp and perimeter inspections with regard to maintaining a safe, efficient, and orderly operation in compliance with existing regulations
Determine the need for closure/opening of the airfield or portion thereof for routine maintenance, snow removal operations, emergencies, and other operational needs

Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear; occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to understand and speak English clearly. Must be able to drive at night.
Exposure to general office noise as well as sounds associated with equipment and radio alarms. Exposure to lights, noise, Aviation fuels and chemicals associated with aircraft, heavy equipment, snow and ice control. Works both inside and outside regardless of weather conditions. Regularly works near moving mechanical parts as well as aircraft. This position is assigned rotating shifts based on a 24-hour, 7 days a week work schedule, including holidays and may at times be the only management staff on the premises. Operations supervisors are subject to remain on duty beyond the scheduled shift and/or are required to report to work as needed for operational necessity. This position may be assigned on-call status on an intermittent or regularly scheduled basis.
