DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to perform, but not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate, up to date record of total time, time since last inspection and overhaul data on each aircraft;
- Identify & initiate corrections to any aircraft record discrepancies; review with Manager QA when required;
- Coordinate all computer applications relating to maintenance records inclusive of timely uploading of operators flight hours and cycles to Maintenance Program software, via Flight Operations software;
- Be responsible for the administration of Annual Airworthiness Information Report;
- Ensure control and submission of the bi-monthly time sheets and individual time reports for all direct reports;
- Support the Engineering Department, with respect to responsibility for aircraft and ground radio license renewal applications with Industry Canada;
- Conduct periodic audits and reviews of Maintenance Program software entries to ensure ongoing quality compliance;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory technical records requirements as well as internal policies and procedures;
- Routinely analyze methods and procedures within the section with the objective of improving efficiency and productivity;
- Responsible for the digital control of all
- Assume other duties, as required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
- Two (2) years post secondary education;
- Four (4) years previous experience;
- Excellent organizational and leadership;
- Previous supervisory experience;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving;
- Possesses a solid understanding of the business and customer environment;
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and E-mail;
- Adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and effective time management;
- Ability to communicate in Inuktitut or other Indigenous language considered an asset;
- Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
