How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Manager Protective Intelligence and Investigative Analysis provides strategic leadership and drives the development and implementation of programs and policies for the protective intelligence and investigative analysis programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop Delta’s protective intelligence program and methodology, and drive theformulation and implementation of innovative mitigation strategies.Lead the Investigative Analysis team, providing strategic vision and direct analytical engagement.Oversee and manage key programs designed to proactively identify and mitigatesecurity risk across the enterprise.Maintain a current and deep understanding of worldwide threat dynamics and trends related to terrorism, radicalization and recruitment, and executive/employee/event security.Drive objective, detailed, and accurate open-source analysis and data exploitation to establish connections and patterns and discover potential risk indicators.Lead the monitoring of vast quantities of information to identify security threats and vulnerabilities that could impact company personnel, assets, information, or reputation.Serve as subject-matter expert (SME) and drive the production and dissemination of assessments and analysis to Corporate Security stakeholders and executives through written reports, oral briefings, and visual presentations.Drive the development of metrics and measures to assess, manage, and improveprocesses and performance.Oversee third-party vendors and information platforms, to include recurrent assessmentsof vendor performance, value, and relevance.Manage protective intelligence data collection and analysis and ensure accuracy of reported information.Immediately respond to high threats and security incidents, even when outside of normal business hours; manage off-hour and weekend program coverage.Develop and maintain liaison and engagement relationships with government partners and industry counterparts.Collaborate across teams on special reports and investigatory projects.Assist with program audits and quality assurance.Maintain rigid confidentiality surrounding sensitive information and program elements.Practice safety- and security-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.Embrace diverse people, thinking and styles.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelor’s degree required with at least 5 years’ of relevant professional experience; orin the absence of a college degree, must have at least 7 years’ of relevant professionalexperience.Exceptional ability to communicate strategies, recommendations, and detailedinformation through oral and written means to executive leaders.Proven, firsthand experience with investigative data exploitation and analysis.Strong analytical skills as well as a high degree of proficiency in online communicationand technology platforms.Deep understanding of current trends in terrorism, the radicalization process and theideologies that encourage violent extremism.Comfortable working with large data sets to identify trends and extract key takeaways.Ability to adapt and operationalize corporate vision, effectively manage change withdirect reports, and solidify team support for company initiatives.Ability to make challenging judgment calls in the absence of senior leaders.Strong leadership skills with a natural curiosity and attention to detail.Ability to overcome information gaps and create new avenues of information flow.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs with competing priorities in a fastpaced environment while meeting strict deadlines.Ability to effectively manage a team while under budgetary, operational, and/or timeconstraints.Ability to develop and oversee both internal and external information and peer networksand leverage existing networks.Flexible and adaptable to a fluid and challenging environment.Ability to ensure adherence to established procedures while under pressure in criticalsituations.Possess a high degree of self-discipline, initiative, and drive.Exceptional understanding of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Outlook) and data analysis tools.Limited domestic and international travel required.US citizenship required.Ability to obtain US government security clearance is required.Performing satisfactorily in current position.Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
