Job overview and responsibilities
The Manager role provides leadership to our Inflight Safety Programs including: Safety Management System (SMS), Regulatory, QA/QC, Irregular Operation Reports, safety data, Inflight Safety Action Program (ISAP), and Flight Attendant Fatigue Risk Management Program (FA-FRMP). The Manager will serve as a key facilitator of Inflights regulatory and SMS risk mitigation development, internal/external audits, monthly safety meetings, and data analysis. Additionally, the Manager will provide updates to applicable manuals within their purview.
- Oversees Specialist roles for the administration and execution of departmental strategy pertaining to the Inflight Safety Action Program
- Oversees Specialist roles in appropriate administration and execution of departmental strategy for the Flight Attendant Fatigue Risk Management Program
- Development and oversight of enhanced regulatory and quality assurance activities, including support for management of voluntary disclosures and compliance actions, and long term monitoring of safety policy changes and other mitigations
- Manage safety data analysis for the Inflight division, with oversight of data Specialists in multiple locations
- Delegate and track both formal and ad hoc data requests
- Oversees Inflight QA/QC program to ensure division compliance with internal and external audit sources; drives audit strategy and calibration
- Provides management and contractual oversight for both employees and analyst partners for the India Knowledge Center (IKC) and IGT
- Prepare and collate executive presentation notes and decks as applicable to the roles oversight
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree or related experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in the commercial air carrier industry or a highly regulated safety environment
- Previous management experience
- Knowledge of Aviation Safety Action Programs; Fatigue Risk Management Programs; Safety Management Systems; Data management and analysis;
- Aviation auditing programs and processes; Applicable portions of the Code of Federal Regulations governing air carrier operations; aviation security; occupational health and safety
- Meticulous organizational and task prioritization skills
- Large team management
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Creation of executive level presentations
- Ability to conduct data analysis
- Willing to travel up to 15
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $129,924.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
