Job Description:
Title: Learning and Development Program Manager: Quebec Canada
Overview:
Vertex Technologies Canada Inc. (VTCI) is looking for a Learning and Development Program Manager to oversee all aspects of a learning center and associated learning program operations, and lead a team of learning operations specialist, and training administrators. The Manager is responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 training professionals who provide administrative and logistical support for learning events. This position is responsible for the successful management of the facility and the training events supported by this team. Additionally, the Manager will serve as the primary customer interface and will be responsible for building strong relationships between VTCI and the fortune 500 customer. They will be co-located with and responsible for working with the customer to ensure flawless delivery of services.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a skilled Project Manager (PM) with an operational focus and a proven track record of success, and a strong customer service and financial background. They should also be skilled at leading teams, building strong customer relationships, and achieving operational and business learning and development objectives. This job requires flexibility, adaptability, and an ability to find creative solutions to new challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and direct a training administrative team in all matters pertaining to cost, schedule, and performance
• Responsible for ensuring all events are delivered on time and on budget
• Responsible for overall management, performance of the learning center and audit compliance
• Responsible for ensuring employees are performing effectively, efficiently and are fully utilized
• Manage technology systems related to the learning center and course delivery including system upgrades and maintenance to ensure integrity of data
• Manage and report on financial performance of the learning center and related projects
• Ensure customer reports are accurate and provided in a timely manner
• Build strong client relationships, including coordinating with the learning council, various learning functions, and cross business functions to ensure that the needs of the customer are satisfied
• Participate in annual planning with customer to set strategic objectives, improvement plans, faculty planning, and scheduling
• Interface with other Raytheon Professional Services training managers and administrative leads to ensure adherence to common processes and metric generation.
• Identify, plan and implement process improvement opportunities
Required Skills
• 6 years of successfully leading and managing teams
• 4 years of successfully leading and managing projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills French and English
• Experience working and managing employees in a customer service environment
• Understanding of financial statements such as budgets and P&L statements
• Proven ability to build relationships at multiple levels of the clients organization
• Strong project management skills
• Proven ability to identify, evaluate and resolve problems and implement plans for areas of continuous improvement
• Proven ability to work with minimal management direction and can perform work responsibilities with remote manager
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of learning industry, training administration, classroom logistics
• Project or Program Management certifications a plus
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Note:
This is an on-site position, with possibility of hybrid work based on needs
Overtime and work on weekends/evenings may be required for class set up/tear down and other event support

Le chef déquipe sera responsable dune équipe de professionnels de la formation qui fournissent un soutien administratif et logistique aux activités de formation de Pratt & Whitney Canada. À ce poste, vous serez responsable de la gestion efficace de linfrastructure ainsi que des activités de formation assurées par léquipe. De plus, le responsable fera office dinterface principale pour le client et devra établir une relation entre VTCI et PWC. Il occupera les mêmes locaux que le client et sera tenu de travailler avec celui-ci afin dassurer une prestation de services irréprochable, en respectant les délais et les budgets prévus.
Le candidat idéal pour ce poste sera un responsable de projet (RP) qualifié, axé sur les opérations et comptant de nombreuses réalisations à son actif. Il devra également posséder une solide expérience du service à la clientèle et de la finance. Il devra être à même de diriger des équipes, détablir de solides relations avec les clients et datteindre les objectifs de formation et de perfectionnement liés aux opérations commerciales. Ce travail nécessite de la flexibilité et de ladaptabilité, ainsi quune capacité à trouver des solutions novatrices pour répondre à de nouveaux défis.
Responsabilités professionnelles :
Diriger et orienter une équipe administrative de formation dans tous ses aspects liés aux coûts, aux échéanciers et au rendement
Sassurer que toutes les activités sont offertes dans les délais prévus et selon le budget octroyé
Responsable de la gestion globale et du rendement des centres de formation et des audits de conformités
Sassurer que les employés fonctionnent de manière efficace et que leurs compétences sont pleinement utilisées
Gérer les systèmes technologiques liés aux centres de formation et aux cours qui y sont offerts, y compris les mises à niveau, la maintenance des systèmes pour assurer lintégrité des données.
Gérer et rendre compte de la performance financière des centres de formation et des projets connexes
Sassurer que les rapports destinés aux clients sont exacts et fournis dans les délais prescrits
Établir de solides relations avec le client, ce qui comprend la participation aux différents comités dapprentissage, permettant de sassurer que les besoins du client sont satisfaits
Participer à la planification annuelle avec le client afin de définir les objectifs stratégiques, les plans damélioration, la planification des enseignants et les horaires
Faire le lien avec les autres responsables de la formation et les responsables administratifs de RPS afin que les processus communs et que les indicateurs de performance soient créés et respectés
Répertorier, planifier et mettre en œuvre les occasions damélioration des processus
Compétences requises

Capacité avérée à établir des relations à plusieurs niveaux de lorganisation
Solides compétences en gestion de projet
Capacité avérée à déterminer la nature des problèmes, à les évaluer et à les résoudre, et à mettre en œuvre des plans damélioration continue
Aptitude avérée à travailler avec une orientation minimale de la direction et à sacquitter de ses responsabilités professionnelles avec un gestionnaire à distance
Compétences souhaitées :
Connaissance du secteur de la formation, de ladministration de la formation, de la logistique de salle de classe
Certifications en gestion de projet ou de programme, un atout
Études :
Baccalauréat en administration des affaires ou équivalent.
