Job Summary:
The Fabriciation Team Lead will oversee, and coordinates activities of 17 workers engaged in operating machinery, fabricating, and packaging doors and frames.
In this role, you will:
Confers leads of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products.
Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Interprets job orders to workers and assigns duties accordingly.
Works with O/Ps manager to establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems
Maintains time and production records.
Conducts departmental meetings regarding safety, department changes, and company communications.
Flex in the line and work where needed.
Uses JDE system to back flush orders, transfer materials, check order status, etc.
Participates in daily team leader meetings.
Oversees and assists with preventative maintenance of all equipment within the department.
You have: (required)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
1 to 2 Years related work experience.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets documents such as, Takeoffs, D/OP drawings, Templates, safety rules
Ability to effectively communicate with other employees, leads, supervisors and managers.
Ability to deal with and respond to minor problems in standard work situations.
Preferred Qualifications
2 to 5 years’ experience in construction industry.
2 to 5 years leadership experience
Pay
Wage for this position is $27.89 hour.
