Raytheon - Advance Products & Solution (APS) is seeking a Director, Program Management to support a highly visible complex portfolio area within the Advanced Fighter Systems (AFS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).
The Director, Program Management will be responsible for managing a portfolio of programs while supervising and mentoring a team of Program Managers. You will work closely with Program Managers to ensure flawless program execution of development and production programs and be responsible for the capture and execution of strategic business as a growth engine for AFS.
The Director, Program Management is responsible for the implementation of strategy to capture and execute this strategic business as a growth engine to include responsibility for profit/loss ownership, working across all functions to meet dynamic annual operating plan bookings, sales, profit, and cash goals, while driving the long-range financial plan to meet commitments.
What You Will Do
Partner at multiple levels within enterprise to capture business and ensure execution success
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
Execute program growth strategies for domestic and international growth
Lead multiple cross-functional teams including program management, engineering, contracts, supply chain and operations, mission assurance, and finance, with responsibility across current contracts and investment projects, capture activities including proposals, win strategies, and customer relationships and the conduct of regular leadership reviews
Understand and represent customer needs to leadership while building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and key suppliers
Coordinate and align interactions, dependencies, and transactions between customers and other primes
Attract, retain, supervise, and develop talent
Present program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures
Travel to support domestic and international business engagements
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Business Management, Engineering (or other STEM focused area) or related discipline and 14 years of relevant experience
Program management and/or Engineering leadership experience (to include one or all of the following: chief engineering leadership and/or program management)
Experience leading proposal capture
Experience managing financial practices (cost, schedule, financial forecast, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Estimate at Completions (EACs), Risk and Opportunity Management, short range outlook, financial forecast, annual operating plan/long range plan, and earned value, etc)
Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, and/or administrative functions
Experience engaging and reporting out to all levels of executive stakeholders
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources

Qualifications We Prefer
Proven success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
Program Management Level-3 Certification
Experience with Radar and/or Software development
Proven success creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
Experience working with U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy or other customers on government programs with complexity requiring direct customer interfaces, both internal and external
Experience implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies

The salary range for this role is 194,000 USD - 388,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
