How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Cargo Commercial is seeking individuals who have Cargo business sales experience, proven leadership skills and possess a high level of accountability for maximizing sales, revenue, and profitability for the Cargo Division. The successful candidate should be able to lead a highly skilled and diverse sales team. In addition, the candidate must be able to work effectively and collaboratively to grow revenue with all JV partnerships. This individual will be located in ATL.The selected leader will help oversee all aspects of Delta Cargo’s key customer relationships, leading a dedicated team of Global Account Managers, Global Sales Account Executives, Sales Leaders, and contracted sellers (GSA’s).Owns Cargo customer strategy, and delivery of targeted growth performance.Responsible for the development and implementation of products into the spanet in tune with current and anticipated spanet needs, to maximize business results.Minimum of 50 travel required.Primary owner of relationships with current and prospective Delta Cargo Customers.Leads contracting and commercial negotiations with existing and new customers.Lead a diverse team of employees across the globe, focusing on development and mentorship of highly skilled and self-motivated team members.Acts as member of Cargo leadership team responsible for managing end-to-end business model for Cargo across customer management and in partners to deliver on commercial development, network planning, operations execution and customer satisfaction.Seamless coordination with Network, Pricing & Revenue Management, Loyalty, ACS, IFS and Marketing, both on passenger and cargo businesses.Communicate corporate goals, policies and philosophies to team members, industry partners and customer groups via public forums and presentations.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Minimum 5 years of commercial airline or cargo experience is required.Minimum of 5 years sales leadership experience with exemplary performance.Excellent leadership skills with experience developing and mentoring talented teams.Must be entrepreneurial, deeply analytical, and innovative with solid problem-solving abilities driving from insights to impact.Must have top tier skills in strategic thinking, financial and economic analysis, and system development.Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities at any given time and leveraging resources.Ability to collaborate, influence and provide counsel at all levels of the organization.Strong internal and external relationship building skills.Strong oral and written presentation skills.Ability to think strategically and align Cargo division and Delta long term goals.Strong business acumen, maturity and airline industry knowledge.Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
