Job Title Director of Operations Dutch Caribbean
Place: Dutch Caribbean (Stationed in Curacao)
Reporting to: CEO Swissport Dutch Caribbean
Job Summary
Plan, organize, develop, control and audit operational and administrative activities, ensuring efficiency and performance in accordance with corporate objectives and company strategies.
Responsibilities
- Direct and ensure the monitoring and evaluation of the performance of operations teams, providing continuous feedback to managers;
- Lead and support revenue growth targets;
- Support and ensure the standardization and culture of KPIs to maximize efficiency and cost control;
- Manage and execute the preparation and control of the respective unit/regions budget and proposals for capital expansion and investments in infrastructure, equipment and systems technology, and other resources;
- Monitor the smooth progress of the quality and safety of procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies;
- Manage overall efficiency and cost control by promoting and directing processes;
- Support the implementation of new technologies to reduce costs through automation;
- Support Directors in relationships with customers and partners;
- Manage, guide, and develop a team with responsibilities for increasing organizational and cost effectiveness;
- Act in accordance with applicable laws, SOPs, Swissport policies, and Customer requirements;
- Ensure compliance with the targets set out in the budget, through adequate monitoring between actual and budgeted figures;
- Ensure productivity through adequate planning of all resources involved in the operation, in alignment with the Matrix Planning Management;
- Ensure an adequate level of service delivery with a focus on operational excellence for our customers;
- Ensure the implementation of operational health and safety management in accordance with internal policies, manuals, and procedures;
- Lead, develop, and motivate your team to achieve the objectives and goals established for your area;
- Perform other related activities as requested.
- Fulfill the responsibilities detailed in the stations QHSE Management System Manual and in the manuals under your responsibility and management, ensuring compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISAGO standards
- Prepare and explain detailed operational reporting to CEO
Requirements and Competences:

- 10 + years of experience in a high performance operations position
