DARC is a global network of three next-generation ground sensors, based in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
As the Operations and Maintenance Manager at DARC site 1, you’ll lead the O&M team, manage suppliers and subcontractors, and oversee the maintenance of plant and equipment. You’ll ensure seamless operations across all facilities while maintaining security standards and supporting both onsite and remote activities.
• Lead and manage the Operations and Maintenance team to achieve operational excellence
• Oversee supplier and subcontractor performance to meet contractual and safety requirements
• Ensure effective maintenance of power plant, diesel generators, and facility systems
• Maintain robust security and compliance within a high-security, defence environment
• Foster strong relationships with internal, local, and international stakeholders
You’re an experienced and hands-on leader with a strong background in facility operations and maintenance. You excel in managing people, systems, and risks, ensuring performance, compliance, and the delivery of critical Defence capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
• Proven experience managing O&M operations in a technical or Defence environment
• Skilled in planned and reactive maintenance of power and electrical systems
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels
• Strategic thinker who drives process improvement, reliability, and team development
