To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Crew Scheduling Supervisor in our Flight Operations Department. The primary responsibility of the position is the oversight of the strategic planning for daily flight operations related to crew staffing and coverage while ensuring compliance of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) rules and company procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, previous scheduling experience, and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. This position will report to the Manager, Airline Crew Scheduling.
Essential Duties:
Supervise crew schedulers and their work schedules
Coordinate with other departments
Manage conflict resolution
Complete software and manual updates
Manage and track projects
Coordinate completion and timely submission of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandated items
Create and update spreadsheets
Multitask while maintaining a high quality of work and staying on track with deadlines
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Previous scheduling experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to learn the use of various airline specific computer programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous airline experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role
Teaching or training experience
Work Environment:
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts

Starting Rate:
