Position Summary

This position is responsible for supervising, organizing and directing the activities of the division Accounts Receivable function, maintaining the general ledger system and administering/maintaining the fixed asset function. The position is also responsible for providing information and support as required by management for decision-making purposes. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate objectives and systems for accounting
• Audit divisional procedures to ensure compliance relative to divisional self assessment internal control program 
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, reviews and analysis 
• Participate, coordinate and review month-end and year-end closings 
• Provide timely reports as required to division, group and corporate on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis 
• Maintain fixed asset inventory records including the taking and reconciling of fixed asset physical inventories in accordance with corporate accounting policies 
• Oversee accounts payable function 
• Train, develop, assist and instruct direct reports according to company policy and sound employee relations 

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting 

• 3-5 years of Accounting Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) 

• Certification or Advanced Degree Preferred
