Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable seal kit assembler to assemble, pick and package, and ship finished parts on 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm EST). Parker Hannifin offers a comprehensive and competitive total package which includes:
- Hourly pay for this position based in St. Marys, OH is $21.64 per hour with the capability to top out at $24.11 per hour.
- This position is eligible for an incentive Bonus Plan based on contractual requirements

Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies.Performs daily tasks to produce parts, including but not limited to, loading/unloading equipment, gathering materials/components, positioning work area and setting parameters.Assembles, packages and ships finished parts.Puts materials and parts into the appropriate storage locations.Picks and packs parts to fill sales orders for cylinders, glands, and kits.Manages paperwork flow and picking system.Utilizes various hand tools, specialty tools, and measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.Performs inspection of parts to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification.Completes various types of paperwork related to production reporting.Understands and facilitates Kanban inventory system accuracy.Maintains work areas by cleaning and organizing the space and equipment (utilizing 5S lean principles).Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.Completes additional duties and projects as assigned, which may include assisting in other areas of operations.Qualifications
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.Previous manufacturing experience preferred.Basic math and computer skills required.Ability to multitask and organize work/priorities.Closing Statement
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit and use hands to grasp and handle. Employee will occasionally be required to kneel, squat and bend at the waist. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception. This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes and moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
