Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
Minimum Experience
2+ years of related experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- 2D drafting package and 3D modeling package, preferably SolidWorks. Microsoft Office Suite. Stress or vibrational analysis (FEA) would be an advantage.
- Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines.
- Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
- Able to work with mathematical concepts used in solving static, dynamic, and stress analysis.
- Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts using arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus and their applications.
- Knowledge of the principles of solving complex problems using computational methods.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Valid Driver’s License, where applicable.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
