Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on facility equipment. Tasks include changing oil, belts, servicing filtration systems, changing air filters, and checking for damaged components. You will advocate for Health, Safety, and Environmental-minded work, adhering to all company and safety rules and regulations during your duties.
Responsibilities- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on facility equipment, including changing oil, belts, servicing filtration systems, and changing air filters.
- Advocate Health, Safety, Environmental-minded work and comply with company and safety rules, including LOTO, confined space, elevated work, and machine guarding.
- Support facility compliance with regulatory requirements, such as OSHA, RCRA, SWPPP, through training, inspections, and emergency contingency planning.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in work areas.
- Observe facility maintenance and repair needs, notifying supervision of items that cannot be resolved with a See it, Fix it approach.
- Utilize systems to log work order details, time spent, parts used, and more.
Essential Skills- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively to solve complex issues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of facility equipment and electrical systems.

Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced technologies and equipment. Collaborate with the engineering department to ensure the highest standards of quality and precision. Available shifts include 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, and 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Granby, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
