Purpose of Position

The Maintenance Instructor delivers exceptional ground and/or practical instruction in accordance with FlightSafety Training principles and applicable regulations.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance ground and/or practical training for clients receiving core or specialty training courses.

  • Develop and prepare training materials that support training delivery to meet the client needs in accordance with the applicable curriculum.

  • Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for additional training, if required.

  • Complete accurate training records specific to each client, aiding their success in achieving the requested objective(s).

  • Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.

  • Maintain Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Organiser des formations de maintenance au sol et/ou pratiques pour les clients recevant des cours de formation de base ou spécialisés.

  • Développer et préparer du matériel de formation qui soutient la prestation de formation pour répondre aux besoins des clients conformément au programme détudes applicable.

  • Évaluer et mesurer les progrès des stagiaires et recommander une formation supplémentaire, si nécessaire.

  • Remplir des dossiers de formation précis et spécifiques à chaque client, contribuant ainsi à sa réussite dans la réalisation des objectifs demandés.

  • Identifiez les problèmes de formation des clients et demandez de l’aide avant l’exécution.

  • Maintenir les qualifications des instructeurs conformément aux exigences réglementaires.


Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Knowledge of aviation maintenance safety standards and practices
  • Knowledge of common FlightSafety standards and applicable aviation regulations
  • Ability to manage classes and teach effectively
  • First-level facilitation skills
  • First-level customer service skills
  • Ability to be coachable and receive feedback to support development

Connaissances, compétences, capacités

  • Connaissance des normes et pratiques de sécurité en matière de maintenance aéronautique
  • Connaissance des normes communes de FlightSafety et des réglementations aéronautiques applicables
  • Capacité à gérer des cours et à enseigner efficacement
  • Compétences d’animation de premier niveau
  • Compétences en service client de premier niveau
  • Capacité à être dirigé et à recevoir des commentaires pour soutenir le développement
Minimum Requirements
  • Airframe and Powerplant license/certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on aircraft experience.  Experience with Falcon business jets preferred but not required.
  • EASA Part 145 Release to Service Authorization on Falcon business jets preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual French and English, minimum level B1

Exigences minimales

  • Licence/certification de cellule et de groupe motopropulseur
  • Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience pratique sur aéronef.  Expérience avec les jets d'affaires Falcon, de préférence mais pas obligatoire.
  • L'autorisation de mise en service de la partie 145 de l'AESA sur les jets d'affaires Falcon est préférée mais non requise.
  • Bilinguisme français et anglais, niveau minimum B1

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
