Summary: Our organization is seeking a mid-career Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our corporate aviation team. This position is responsible for ensuring all aircraft are maintained to the highest levels of safety. You will be working with a small team of dedicated peers on a newer aircraft fleet with the resources to ensure proper tooling and materials are always available. Job Responsibilities:
- Repairs, services and troubleshoots aircraft to ensure safe operating conditions.
- Stays informed with the national civil aviation authority on maintenance topics.
- Liaises with all non-company persons or Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs) performing maintenance on aircraft, as delegated by the Director of Maintenance.
- Assists with the establishment and maintenance of aircraft records as required by State regulations, manufacturers’ and company policy.
- Keeps Maintenance leadership apprised of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins that affect aircraft.
- Removes from service any aircraft that is unsafe, or that does not comply with national regulatory requirements.
- Assists in the establishment of Flight Department safety policies and procedures for ground operation
- Works hand-in-hand with both Personal & Corporate Security to ensure the highest level of protection for our passengers, baggage, aircraft, passenger automobiles, and facility.
- Reviews and approves invoices for payment, as directed.
- Ability to seek out multiple part and price inquiries to best decide purchase options.
- Ability to plan and monitor hours, parts and other miscellaneous costs for an inspection.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- The following minimum aeronautical experience requirements apply:
- 3 years total experience as an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT)
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
- Experience inspecting/maintaining aircraft suitable for worldwide operations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Helicopter experience a plus.
- H145 experience a plus
- G650 experience a plus.
- Formal aircraft, engine, & avionics training
- Large cabin corporate aircraft a plus
- Dual engine helicopter a plus
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, & Outlook

Working Conditions:
- Work is done onsite in a hangar environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, work with fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
- The potential noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud.
Physical Demands:
- Able to regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands/manual dexterity, and reach or stretch.
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Occasionally required to climb on a ladder.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; talk; hear; use hands/manual dexterity, and fingers to handle or touch/sense, and reach and stretch with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, night vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel Requirements:
- Domestic and International travel may be required.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain international travel documents such as a US passport or other equivalent documents.
Expected Hours of Work:
- This position is typically 40 hours a week but may require availability to work additional hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Benefits and Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $61-$73 per hour, which reflects our above-market pay philosophy as well as room for growth within the role. Starting pay offers will vary depending on several factors, including experience, skills, education, and other qualifications.
