Position Overview
EPC Aerospace Aircraft Maintenance Services LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Avionics Technician to support maintenance operations on commercial aircraft, including Airbus, Boeing, and CRJ platforms. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, installation, inspection, and repair of avionics and electrical systems in accordance with approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of working in a fast-paced maintenance environment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Perform installations, modifications, and upgrades of avionics components.
- Conduct operational and functional checks of aircraft systems.
- Interpret aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Document maintenance actions in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with regulations established by the Federal Aviation Administration.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, inspectors, and engineering staff to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety standards.
Work Environment
- Shift Details: Day
- Work performed in aircraft hangar and ramp environments.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights or weekends if required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights when required.
