A day in the life:
- Actively participate in the Integra and Apollo safety program.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which the Maintenance Technician is assigned and qualified
- Approve aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance for which technician is authorized and qualified.
- Report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Director of Maintenance (or designee).
- Complete all paperwork for maintenance that is performed.
- Ensure that the hangar, workshops, and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
- Assist the Chief of Quality in maintaining technical manuals in a current status.
- Maintain an adequate tool kit.
- Participate in Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) techniques and provide input where appropriate for operations decision.
- Positively represent Integra Aviation & Apollo MedFlight to customers, employees and patients through action, behavior and communication.
- Be able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
The background we are looking for:
- A&P Certificate (2+ years)
- Two or more years of rotor wing experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Bell 407 experience (preferred)
- EMS Experience (preferred)
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation.
