Responsibilities
- Perform classified heavy modifications on fixed-wing military aircraft.
- Conduct depot-level maintenance and aviation heavy maintenance.
- Engage in sheet metal fabrication and repair using rivet guns.
- Interpret blueprints for aviation maintenance and modifications.
Essential Skills- Expertise in aircraft modification and maintenance.
- Proficient in depot-level maintenance and aviation heavy maintenance.
- Skilled in sheet metal fabrication and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for aviation maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Must own tools with a shadowed toolbox and etched or colored tools by Day 1.
- Pass a basic sheet metal test on Day 1.
- Military experience requires 6+ years of aviation structures experience.
- Civilian experience requires at least 4+ years of total aviation structures experience.
- Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, FAA-regulated hangar with flexible shift options. The schedule includes four 10-hour shifts per week, with 1st Shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and 2nd Shift from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. Be prepared to work 2nd Shift if necessary, with opportunities for overtime based on program needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.
