We are seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Abbotsford, BC. This role focuses on heavy maintenance and aircraft conversion, primarily on the Dash 8 Q400for aerial firefighting. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical experience, be adaptable, and ready to contribute to a high-performing team.

• Perform heavy maintenance and conversion work on Q400 aircraft
• Conduct engine checks, wheel changes, structural inspections, and general repairs
• Support other divisions and facilities as needed
• Work independently or as part of a small team under rotating team leads
• Maintain safety and quality standards at all times

• 5+ years of aircraft heavy maintenance experience
• 5+ years of aircraft mechanic experience
• Human Factors & WHMIS Certification (valid from 2021 onward)
• Own tools and reliable transportation
• Ability to work across heavy and line maintenance (heavy preferred)
• Unlicensed candidates with strong experience are welcome

• Experience with Dash 8 Q400, B737, or northern operations (Yukon, NWT)
• Skills in repair, electrical, avionics, and line maintenance
• AME M2 License (not required)

• $50/day per diem (per day worked)
• $1300/month LOA (after first month on site)
• 1 round-trip flight or driving reimbursement up to 1000 km at CRA rate ($0.72/km)
• Paid travel time (up to 10 hours)

• Must bring basic tooling

The pay range for this position is $52.50 - $55.00/hr.
