Duration: 12+ Months Contract

     Pay:  $25-$28 per hour on W2 (OT after 40 hours)

Relocation: Out-of-state candidates accepted; must relocate at own expense

Position Overview

We are seeking Assembler B – D81 Assembly professionals to support aircraft production operations in North Charleston, SC. This role performs routine production assembly work on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual and automated tools in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing or fabrication experience, can follow detailed work instructions, and thrives in a team-based, production-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine production assembly operations on:
• Structural parts
• Mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
• Aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories
• Use manual and automated assembly tools to complete assigned tasks
• Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Partner with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and Team Leaders to meet production goals
• Identify production constraints or roadblocks and escalate issues as needed
• Apply Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) methods to mitigate performance risks
• Support Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS), KPI initiatives, and 5S activities
• Assist with cross-training and mentoring teammates
• Support overtime as required to meet customer commitments
• Maintain a culture of One Team, Pride, and Ownership

• Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication
• Minimum 1+ year of experience following detailed work instructions and reading blueprints, drawings, or specifications (in English)
• Minimum 1+ year of experience using computer applications such as:
• Internet navigation
• Email
• Microsoft Suite or similar software
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of aerospace manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical demands including:
• Bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching (including overhead), twisting, standing, and walking
• Climbing and balancing on stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and inclined surfaces
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Ability to handle, use, and properly dispose of hazardous materials
