Job Title: A&P Mechanic (Corporate)
Job Description
The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and modifications on Citation jets, ensuring aircraft are airworthy and compliant with all regulations. This role is ideal for someone with strong Avionics experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting on Citation jets, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical discrepancies.
- Install and test complex avionics equipment and electrical systems.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure timely task completion.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in compliance with safety standards.
- Stay updated on maintenance techniques, FAA regulations, and manufacturer service bulletins.
- Respond to aircraft on ground (AOG) situations to provide timely repairs.
Essential Skills
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call situations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Corporate Jet experience, ideally Citations.
- Part 135 experience.
- Cessna Citation experience.
- Experience in Military, MRO, General Aviation, or Commercial maintenance.

Work Environment
Work in a well-equipped hangar in Oakland, maintaining a fleet of around 12 aircraft. Employees are required to bring their own tools.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $55.00/hr.
